Amadablam Expedition - 30 Days
There are many mountains in Nepal among them Mount Amadablam is the beautiful mountain, located almost due south of Mt. Everest and Mt. Lhotse in the Khumbu region. Mount Amadablam is one of the prettiest and small snow-capped peak on the earth at an altitude of 6856 m. It is popularly known as the ‘Matterhorn of the Himalaya’. The glacier looks of Mount Amadablam is like a jewel box hanging on the neck of the mountain. It is literally known as ‘The Mother’s Jewel Box’. The name comes from the unique shape where it seems a mother is holding her baby with a necklace like a glacier.
The Mount Amadablam is considered to be the most technical and difficult to climb. The normal route to climb mount Amadablam is from its south-west ridge. But it has the mixed route with ice, snow, and rock climbing around the glacier with fixed ropes and anchors. Mount Amadablam dominates the eastern sky for anyone trekking to Mount Everest base camp. It is a third most popular Himalayan peak for permitted expeditions. Expedition includes a few days of the trek into the scenic Khumbu valley with magnificent Sherpa culture.
The best month to climb Mount Amadablam is in every autumn from Oct to mid-Nov. The chance of rainfall will be low due to which the climber may feel easy to climb.
