Pisang Peak Climbing

Pisang Peak Climbing is one of the popular peaks for climbers in Nepal. It is considered as one of the easier climbing peaks among the trekking peaks in Annapurna Region of Nepal. The altitude of Pisang Peak Climbing is 6092m. This peak is considered as the easy climbing peak in Nepal. Pisang Peak Climbing rises opposite of Annapurna II (7937). Pisang Peak lays roughly in between the giants’ Annapurna I and Manaslu both over eight thousand’s mountain.Pisang Peak is one of the non-expedition peaks in Nepal. Pisang Peak rises above from Pisang village and yak pastures in a uniform slope of ice and snow to the final summit pyramid.

Pisang Peak lies on the way to the highest pass of the world “Throng La Pass” and offers very good scope for exploration. There will be snow at the high camp from the end of November to the end of March. Climbing involves trekking in the famous Annapurna region and summiting Pisang Peak.The summit of the Pisang Peak offers excellent views of the Annapurna I, II, IV, III, Gangapurna, Manaslu, Lamjung Himal and other smaller peaks.Pisang peak climbing will be a perfect adventure for those who aspire to venture into some of the less trodden remote regions of Nepal apart from regular trekking routes and have an adventurous climbing experience.

Itinerary


Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m).

Day 2 Kathmandu (1300m): Trip preparation

Day 3 Drive from Kathmandu to Dharapani (1,960m): 11-12 hours

Day 4 Dharapani to Chame (2,710m): 5-6 hours

Day 5 Chame to Upper Pisang (3,700m): 5-6hours

Day 6 Acclimatization

Day 7 Upper Pisang to Pisang Peak Base Camp (4,380m): 4-5 hours

Day 8 Pisang Peak Base Camp to High Camp (5,400m): 3-4 hours

Day 9 Summit Pisang Peak and back to base camp (6,091m): 8-9 hours

Day 10 Contingency

Day 11 Pisang Peak Base Camp to Manang Valley (3,450m): 5-6 hours

Day 12 Manang to Yak Kharka (4,110m): 3-4 hours

Day 13 Yak kharka to Thorang Phedi: (4420m): 3-4 hours

Day 14 Thorang Phedi to Thorong La (5416m), continue trek to Muktinath (3,800/12,467ft): 9-10 hours

Day 15 Muktinath to Jomsom (2,715m): 5-6 hours

Day 16 Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara: 25 minutes

Day 17 Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu: 6 hours
