The Naya Khang Peak Climbing is less popular climbing peak and climbed by fewer climbers in Nepal. The altitude of the Naya Khang Peak is 5800m.The peak is also known as Ganja La and one of the popular trekking peaks in Nepal. This peak is the nearest peak from Kathmandu. It lies 19 miles or 30 km north of Kathmandu valley to Langtang region. It is suited for the beginner climbers due to its nontechnical geographical structure. Everyone who has trekking experiences and good physical fitness can climb the peak. The classical trek combines three major areas along the border of Tibet, Langtang, Helambu and Gosian Kund.

Since the Naya Khang Peak climbing includes Helambu valley you can view beautiful scenery of nature. Because Helambu valley is very famous for its natural beauty and wonderful climate with superb views of magnificent snow-covered mountains. The peak is covered by the alpine tree. Due to which you need to be physically fit and healthy with at least some climbing experience. You will be guided by a team of Climbing Sherpas to guide and assist and help you to manage the equipment and supplies. If you need porters then Sherpa climbers will help you to get one.

You can climb the peak in September – November (Autumn), March-May (Spring), June – August(Summer), and December – February (Winter). The best season for trekking is Autumn and Spring because the weather will be clear and the temperature is moderate. Spring collects beautiful flowers, plants, and rare animals Walking is also very much suitable during this season.


Day 1 Arrive Kathmandu (1,300m).

Day 2 Kathmandu valley sightseeing & trek preparation (1,300m).

Day 3 Kathmandu - Dhunche (1950m).

Day 4 Dhunche - Thulo Syabru (1900m).

Day 5 Thulo Syabru - Lama Hotel (2470m).

Day 6 Lama Hotel - Langtang (3430m).

Day 7 Langtang - Kyanjin Gompa: (3870m).

Day 9 Kyanjin Gompa - Nyengang Kharka (4430m).

Day 10 Nyengang Kharka - High Camp (4960m).

Day 11 High camp - Naya Khang Summit (5846m).

Day 12 High camp - Kyanjin gompa (3870m).

Day 13 Kyanjin Gompa - Lama Hotel: (2470m).

Day 14 Lama Hotel - via Sherpa Gaun to Syabru Besi (1440m).

Day 15 Syabru Besi - Kathmandu (1300m).

Day 16 Final departure.
